My new favorite happy song, something so innocent and playful about it! LOVE!

Here it is kittens, my first tutorial.....a super easy T-Shirt Necklace!  I love mine, it is super comfy and casual yet can add some funk to a borrrrring office outfit in a snap!
First things first, gather your supplies! You will need an old t-shirt, some shapr scissors and a sewing machine....OR a needle and thread! Told yah, this one is easy peasy! From here on out in order to follow the instructions click on each image below to see the full size and detailed directions will be below! GOOD LUCK!
Phew! Wow, so there you go my very first tutorial. I hope it is easy to follow, because it is super easy to do! I am a very visual person, hence the photos...I hope that helps? I would really love feedback folks! So please, what do you think? Do share! And post pictures of your finished necklace on your blog or flickr so I can see them!

PS: You may notice my blue necklace is very layered. It is two necklaces worn together. See how much fun you can have with this? I made a braided one like I just showed you and then with an old jersey cotton sheet I made a super long one with just the twisty tubes. I just wrap it around a few times.

1.   The strangest thing I've ever eaten is: Deep fried fois gras bites, its was disgusting

2.  I wouldn't be caught dead in: well I am a pretty tacky girl, so there isn't much I wont try wearing at least once. Life is too short! But I can tell you I wont re-visit my raver girl phat pant days that's for sure!

3.  When I am 75 I will: Hopefully live on a farm in the country, be fit and healthy and surrounded by friends and family

4.  If I had to be named after a place I would want to be named: Eden (blushes) not because I think I am paradise or anything, I just think it is such a pretty name. And, well, there is hope and a sense of history in it....I like that.

5.  My real name is: Cami Leanne Fasan, but I spell it Kami. And yes, I rhyme.

6.  My all time favorite photo is: a photo of me standing at the top of a stair well in high school, dressed in thrifted vintage finds, casually turning around to laugh at someone. It is so real and casual, and I look very very happy.

Now head over to "The Little Things We Do" and join the fun!

I finally caved and shelled out the dough for a proper cut and color job, and it was SO WORTH IT! I foudn a great new salon called Bangtown that is like tattoo parlor/grammas house/barber shop/western saloon. I could live there! Lots of kitchy virgin mary art, velvet elvis paintings, old school paint by numbers....LOVE! My stylist was amazing, had the COOLEST tattoos and his adorable doggy was chilling with us too.
So today, I am crafting away with my super awesome new hair and listening to my new favorite band TILLY AND THE WALL!!!!
And just for fun.....I had to throw in this great Tank Girl/Peaches video I found on YouTube!
And my new favorite music video....Tank Girl meets Peacehs. OMFG! Best combo EVER!!!!

1.  If I didn't have to work anymore I would: make art allllllll day long! I would start painting again, Id sew, Id fill my house with crafts and I would do a lot of thrifting!

2.  My favorite thing about a vacation is: the excitement of waking up that first morning and knowing you can do whatever you want! Anything! A world of choice and freedom

3.  When packing for a trip I: always make sure I have my Ipod with a kickass playlist, my camera, and a journal! Essentials

4.  If I could go on a road trip with anyone (dead OR alive) I would choose: hmmmmm honestly I dont know why but all that pops into my head is Janis Joplin. Driving around in an old Vdub van with big tacky shades on, getting into all sorts of mischief...probably in a desert.

5.  My top 3 absolute travel essentials are: LOL! See numero three!

6.  Vacations are: Mandatory, they are good for your mental health!

7.  On vacation you must always: do whatever you want and not feel pressured to do something just to make someone else happy. Its you time baby! Soak it up! Thats what I say at least, but I am a hedonist when on vac-cay!
